Free registration for November 3, 9:00 am (PDT) Workshop at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_oeheqsWVR2ukDAV-BpKvuA

Join us for this free virtual workshop and learn how diverse communities embrace stewardship of their heritage sites. We will hear from communities of varied ethnic, cultural, and historical backgrounds, as well as from those who are engaging young people in stewardship. Program coordinators, community leaders, and volunteer site stewards will speak about their projects and experiences, their successes and challenges, their goals and accomplishments.

For people who work in site stewardship as volunteers or program coordinators or archaeologists, this workshop will provide new, and perhaps provocative, ideas from site stewardship in other States, ideas which could help you increase diversity and participation in your programs. For those not yet involved with stewardship, this workshop will introduce you to archaeological sites across the country and to the people who are helping to preserve them. You also will learn how to become involved with site stewardship.
